Your student is invited to the RAPA Summer Institute 2026. The summer institute is a free music camp open to all new and returning RAPA students and current Delta students, and/or non-RAPA/Delta students for a fee of $100. During the institute, students will learn 9-10 songs over three days and perform the set on the final day. The theme of the camp is: PUNK ROCK TIME MACHINE - Decades of Rebellion. If you are a beginning, intermediate, or advanced singer, guitar/bass player, keyboard player, or drummer, this might be the camp for you.
Here is the schedule:
Tuesday, July 28, 2026: Introduction, practice, and rehearsals. 10:00 am to 2:30 pm
Wednesday, July 29, 2026: Practice and rehearsals. 10:00 am to 2:30 pm
Thursday, July 30, 2026: Practice, rehearsals, and run-through. 10:00 am to 2:30 pm
Friday, July 31, 2026: Final run-through 10:00 am to 11:30 pm; Final Performance 1:00 to 2:00 pm
The institute will take place at the Delta Academy, RAPA studios. The final performance will be in the Delta Academy cafeteria. Lunch will be provided to all students from 12:00 to 12:30 pm each day of the institute. Students may bring bottled water and/or a lunch sack. Dress code is casual summer wear (e.g., shorts, T-shirts); however, clothing must be appropriate for school activities.
