Meet the Teacher
Hello! My name is Mrs Taylor, and I am proud to be both a graduate of both CCSD and UNLV. While at UNLV I earned my Bachelor’s degree in English, as well as a Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Literacy
My lifelong love of literature has shaped my teaching career, as I believe in the richness it brings into our lives—helping us think deeply, connect with others, and discover new perspectives.
I have been teaching since 2005, and I’ve had the privilege of serving the students of Delta Academy since 2014. Each year, I continue to be inspired by my students’ growth, creativity, and resilience.
My goal as an educator is to not only help students build strong skills in reading and writing, but also to foster a genuine appreciation for the power of stories and language in shaping who we are.
